There are currently four streams available under the new subclass 600 visa:
Tourist Stream:
This visa allows to visit your family or friends or simply visit Australia for tourism purposes.
Business Visitor Stream:
Allows you to participate in conference, trade fair or seminar in Australia. You may also wish to attend a business meeting or work on its feasibility.
Sponsored Family Stream:
Allows you to be sponsored by your family to visit them in Australia
Approved Destination Status Stream:
Suitable for Chinese Nationals coming to Australia as part of an approved tour group.
