The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) is a permanent residency visa that allows Australian employers to sponsor employees, who are foreign nationals, for a permanent visa to work in Australia.
There are 3 routes to obtain this visa:
Direct Entry Stream – you must have worked in your occupation (from demand list) on a temporary skill shortage visa (SC 482) for the last three years full time prior to the visa application being lodged;
Transition – For 457 or 482 visa holders with a minimum of 2-3 years of full time experience with their nominating employer.
Labor Agreement – For applicants sponsored by eligible employers under the labor agreement.
