Employer Nomination Scheme

The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) is a permanent residency visa that allows Australian employers to sponsor employees who are foreign nationals for a permanent visa to work in Australia.

There are 3 routes to obtain this visa:

Australian full-time work experience – you must have worked in your occupation on a temporary residence visa (SC 457) for the last two years prior to the visa application being lodged;

Sponsorship details – you must be nominated to fill a highly paid senior executive position with a salary of more than $180 000 per annum (excluding superannuation or allowances);

Skills and expertise – you must be assessed as suitable by the relevant skills assessing authority and have at least three years full-time work experience onshore or offshore in the occupation before the visa application is lodged.

The ENS is at the top of the priority processing list. The current processing guideline is that this visa will be processed in 4 – 6 months from date of lodgement* and you can add dependent family members to your application.
